Does anyone know what this update added to Marantz AVRs???

I only get 1080p showing up on my Marantz AVR when playing 4K content from apps within the A90J. Are you showing the same? If I use the Xbox or the Apple TV it shows the correct resolution 4K but only using the A90J does it always show 1080p. Thanks for any info you might have

I received my new A90J TV today. I was surprised to find out that the Bravia Core app passes through lossless audio DTS-HD Master Audio to my Marantz that is IMAX Enhanced enabled. I’m amazed that TV’s can finally stream 4K UHD blu-ray quality movies with Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio

Did you find that on the Marantz website? Authorized re-sellers can charge whatever they want but I was specifically talking about the Denon and Marantz website in the USA. I think other countries have increased prices though. I'm not sure how they compare to US prices.

yes, both Denon and Marantz went up in May. But Denon's went up another $100 just last month.

Wow, you really know a lot Noot. It’s pretty incredible that 40w produces about an increase in one decible in power. I wonder why AVRs don’t just come in 50watt increases. For example, 3700 = 105w. 4700 = 155. 6700 = 205, etc, etc. That way each version is about one decible more powerful.

I wonder why Sound United kept the Marantz prices the same? Is Sound United making Denon customers pay for the increase in prices for their components? I'm new to the AVR world. I'm still learning about all of this. Thanks.

oh wow, that is incredible. And they even haven't started using the better quality AKM DACs yet. In the UK, the x3700h is $1,750. The x4700h is $3,400. The x6700h is $3650. Incredible. This is reprehensible.

wow, so there is more to AVR quality control than just inferior DACs LoL. Were the bad capacitors also used in the x4700h and x3700H? Did Marantz use the same bad capacitors in any of their AVRs?

Is it just my memory going bad or did Denon just increase the prices of their AVRs by $100 for 2022? Marantz prices remained the same. They started using the inferior PCM1502A DAC and now they're charging customers more for less quality sound? wow https://www.denon.com/en-us/category/av-receivers
