'Hi-Fi Riff' YouTube channel - get an idea of the gear

'Hi-Fi Riff' channel with views around 1000 gives some hints on how iconic nostalgia gear sounds along with more recent Hi-Fi. Nice chaps with some of the gear one once read about. Musical Fidelity A1 Class A, a hazardous fire starter, as an example. Deserves more viewers, I would say.

Naim Uniti Atom Review (Streamer & Amp)

Could be interesting to see how something like below would measure up, although shipment alone would be deterring. See https://innovative.nyc/naim for the purpose of each unit.

Naim Uniti Atom Review (Streamer & Amp)

It's more like the error-correcting theory is so much more intellectually stimulating than the sales/mags fairy tales.

Naim Uniti Atom Review (Streamer & Amp)

Diverging from the topic, within the Brand though - For those never familiar with error-correcting codes there was the now discontinued UnitiServe. For a small fortune, it did what any other mass produced CD-player was capable of.

    Luxman SQ-N150 Review (Tube Amplifier)

LOL The Infinity is a 3-way floor-standing speaker. What if instead connected to a small 2-way speaker, such as B&W, Wharfedale, Dali or similar? The bass boost could be more fitting in such a context.

The Carver Challenge https://www.stereophile.com/content/carver-challenge 'the listening went on through the whole afternoon and much of the evening, until all of us were listened out. More leisurely listening, refreshed by a good night's sleep, failed to turn up anything. As far as we could...

Meze Liric Review (Closed Back Headphone)

it's completely clear what it takes to get a favourable review. The manufacturer can perform the testing and make adjustments before start of production. It's that simple.

Meze Liric Review (Closed Back Headphone)

A concerted effort to review the item https://www.whathifi.com/reviews/meze-audio-liric Soundwise the summary is 'As good as the Liric are, we’re not fully convinced by their dynamic ability. The subtleties are handled well but there’s a notable lack of punch, particularly at low frequencies.'
