I have occasionally blind tested wav vs 128 kbit (converted by myself) with the Foobar abx comparator. Usually I have managed to get 20/20 results, but it has required concentrated listening. In most cases the difference is far from obvious. Could I enjoy listening the lossy version? Sure.
This is my first pair of Campus and I have not really used them yet, so too early say. Usually I like sturdy heels (these feel much more robust than Gazelles, for example).
Ach, you might be mistaken. The dielectric was implemented while reading aloud Hegelian (not the hifi manufacturer, mind you) philosophy. That is why the cables are able to reveal the Weltgeist in music.
I used to be more interested in gear (not more than music, though), but these days good enough is good enough. I do not think better gear would help me enjoy or understand music better.
