How do you know DX7Pro+ sounds better in what sense? Some reviewers still say M500 MK3 sounds better even tho its cheaper its really subjective also.

Did anyone upgrade from MK2 to MK3 and did they notice any difference in sound as a dac and also as headphone amp?

Just because they use the same photos it doesnt mean that headphone section isnt improved. Its cheaper and people prefer it over the topping.

Did they also do this to ID4 MK2 ?

Can anyone explain why this dac sounds so different with different usb cable ? On the stock usb cable the edges are sharp and it sounds sibilant while with the other usb cable it sounds smoother and less sibilant and less harsh on the edges (this new usb cable has a choke also, could that help...

Its one of the warmer sounding amps compared to other class d amps but at the same time yes it sounds kinda "thin" on the bass departmentit lacks that "depth" that CLASS AB has but it does have loads of detail and texture. SMSL A100 sounds fuller but lacks details and texture. You can compare...

It seems everyone is liking and favoring the SMSL M500 MK3. Seems like a good buy

There is another bug with this amp. When you switch inputs and go back to bluetooth you can get crackling and popping sounds while the music is playing. But if you turn it off and turn it on again its fine. Also Displays shows C instead of E if you change EQ it with remote.
