shenzhenaudio.com is having a sale and I've been following the DAC for a while. Im out of work and can't really justify the purchase. But its getting tough saying no. Is anyone using the X16 with music work? Music production? Any comments relate to this? Thanks.

Audio Hijack for OSX is what I use. I also use Realphones which has system wide integration but I use it mostly with logic.

I know what you mean. I live in an apartment and play with music production. I can't have monitors.

It help but don't ever expect headphones to sound like speakers.

Does windows 10 and audio production software need drivers? Say studio one or reaper?

As I understand it, these unit need ASIO drivers to work in windows. I think I saw somewhere that the units use generic drivers and they are not simple to install.

Anyone have instructions on configuring drivers for this DACs in windows?

I've found everything at my local electronic shop for about 35€. I will use the neutrik NC3 M/F XX-B connectors with gold tips. Shielded mic cable with 2 cores 0,22mm.

Just looking for good cables. No snake oil. Van Dam seems good but provider is in the UK and they are totally shut down because of the virus. I might just make the cables myself. If I can source the connectors and cables local. Doesn't seem to be too difficult.
