Only reason I would upgrade from my atom would be if I needed balanced outputs, in which I would get the THX AAA 789. Otherwise I'm at my personal endgame with the ASR combo (KTB + atom)

Is there some kind of adapter or so to toggle between headphone / preamp without unplugging the headphones? Would be kind of neat

I recommend getting the khadas paring with atom.

I also had issues with it disconnecting/connecting repeatedly. I fixed the issue replacing the usb-c cable with just a basic amazon one. The cool patterned one that came with it was the issue for me it seems!

I have JDS atom and khadas tone. Any reason to get this to replace the atom (besides build quality) If I don't see myself using balanced?
