Yes. Power supply specs show max current the supply is designed for. Device uses so much current as it actually needs (but of course not more than its poower supply is capable to provide). You can use L50 balanced input with single ended headphone output.

SMSL SU-9n Review (Balanced Stereo DAC)

Sorry I wasn't enough clear. I meant it differently - without conversion to PCM and back to DSD. Only HQPlayer is capable of that. From FAQ: Why is Roon converting to PCM? The most common reasons why DSD is converted to PCM are: The audio device isn't reporting DSD support to Roon The audio...

That's not about new DACs, it is so many years already. No current OS supports volume control for DSD data (it requires different math than in PCM case). The only player which supports volume control, convolution, parametric eq and rate conversion with DSD data is HQPlayer.

    Topping E50 Review (Balanced DAC)

Look at specs of your multiport charger how much current it provides for each port. Do you want to use 4x E50? How do you want to split channels of multichannel recording and direct them to different E50? Did you already test this scenario? Each DAC has its own clock, after some time they may...

You will not get ground loop with any 2 pole wall charger as well when getting power from USB port of the same hub. Ground loop current could flow from other reason, for example between your computer and headamp through your DAC, but rarely if they both are connected to the same wall socket.

    Topping E50 Review (Balanced DAC)

I don't know about audio DAC chip which would not do it in 2 stages. The difrerence between these stages is that the first one is filtered (these digital filters are often user selectable) and the 2nd interpolation stage is simplified without proper filtering. 705.6/768k was used only as an...

    SMSL SU-6 Review (Desktop DAC)

Tidal made people unclear what they are actually streaming. There are alternatives - for example Qobuz, from where you can stream real lossless content. https://www.qobuz.com/us-en/music/streaming/offers

    SMSL SU-6 Review (Desktop DAC)

MQA is lossy format which was propagated as lossless and "as artist intended". When people analyzed the format and found that it is not true, they changed the propaganda for "perceptually lossless", like MP3 at higher bitrates also is or may be. Tidal is currently streaming no lossless content...

What is the best value for money/cheapest DAC which measures well? £ for £ / $ for $ and lowest cost.

Right, I'm using it only over USB and did not test other inputs. I read about some complains related to D90SE and TVs with less stable clock.
