stay away from genelecs, I got the 8361 and not sure if they are better than presonus s8

I upgraded to Genelec 8361 but Presonus Sceptre S8 with or w/o the sub still sounds better than the Genelec 8361 which is like 10x more expensive. I use them to mix, master and produce Techno.

Thanks for letting me know. Then maybe the ATC SCM 110s or ATC 45s make more sense. Some is selling them for 13k/9k respectively.

He doesn't have enough space and the ATC are in his storage. He uses 8341 at home. He had to give up his old studio but says he loves the big ATCs.

So basically they are really not worth the price they sell at considering the alternatives like Neumann KH 410 or Genelec 8361?

My mastering engineer is selling an old ATC SCM 150 PRO asl for 10k, how does this compare to the genelec 8361 or neumann kh 420. Also there's an used ATC SCM 45 at the same price range. Considering most of the mastering studios in Berlin either use a ATC or PMC, wonder what's so wrong in them...

PMC 6-2, it's a studio monitor. I have seen some mastering engineers using PMCs, just like ATCs :)
