I think @thewas mentioned this about the Q7 as well but what I'm noticing is you have to be extremely careful tipping up the treble too...

Dynamic EQ is pretty terrible so I wouldn't worry about it, it simply boosts the bass at lower volumes which ends up making it sound muddy
