I have everything that is connected to my system (including a Mac Pro, printer, etc.) going through a Furman PL-8C power conditioner and that is the only thing plugged into the wall outlet I use. I have zero noise or ground loop issues. I'm running two A07s now, one with OPA1656 op amps, the other with OPA2134s. The amps and chips are great. I'm using the 32v 5 amp brick on the other A07 to run some tweeters. I'm running Spektor 2s with Drok PS. Last night I checked for noise at high volume on the whole system and couldn't detect any.

How do you safely connect a drok power supply with an amp? This thing looks dangerous.
How do you avoid ground loop if the source and the amp are both grounded?

Is your 32v 5amp brick this?

This is the power supply that amir said had some mains hum.

Noise is usually not audible at high volumes. Noise is audible when the amp is not playing any sound or is playing quiet sounds.

By high volume I meant by turning up the system volume and checking with no sound playing. Yes, that's the 32v 5 amp brick I'm using. I did some research on youtube and other DIY audio forums to find out how to wire up the power supply. The only time I had any issue with noise or hum was when I had a fan plugged into the same wall outlet, or if I was using more than one outlet for any connected components including my computer system since it is connected to my DAC via USB.

Do you mean fan noise was increasing noise floor of the listening environment?

Usually, computer fans are a lot more noisy than fans.

Or, do fans add noise to audio signal going into amp?

It was a cheap room fan like that. It was causing an audible pop every few minutes in my old desktop system when I had it plugged into the same wall outlet.

Drok 48V 10A vs Mean Well LRS-350-36 (36V 350W)

The problem I'm facing is I don't know the size of power plug on AIYIMA A07 amp side. I tried the ones I had laying around - from Alientek amp. They don't fit. Opening is too small on power cable side.
Does anyone know proper size specs for AIYIMA A07 power plug?

I found this by googling - and on amazon product description
DC24-48V (outer diameter 5.5mm inner diameter 2.5mm)

Can anyone confirm?

It's 5.5mm x 2.5mm.

Thx! and to update - I found some other PS cable which fit nicely. My PS is like Meanwell - caged power supply, but without fan. So I rewired another cable to it. Everything works now. It's 24V 10A PS BTW. Aiyima A07 is very loud. Even with 24 volt.

Is a 48V power supply really recommended for TPA3255? It is the maximum voltage that TPA3255 can work with.

I think either LRS-200-36 or LRS-200-48 is going to be good for AIYIMA A07.

The PS I have has a digital read out so I keep it set at 45v.

This is the one that's available from Aiyima. DC48V Power Adapter AC110V 220V To DC48V 7.5A Switching Power Supply Light Transformer For TPA3255 Sound Amplifier. Unfortunately, no manual how to connect the wires. Would I need to buy multimeter, too?

Can you link here to the webpage where you bought this and provide the make and model of the power supply?

Now that I look closer the terminal ID is stamped into the metal of the case.
