With my odd placement of my 43" monitor and the way I sit I need my Kali Audio IN-8 V2's to sit higher than normal.
So I bought a pair of stands that are steel and had my friend tig weld an extension to them to clear the top of my monitor.
Then I sprayed them with 4 coats of black rubber coating.
I knew that I would have to angle them down more than what the stand could do so I used a couple large rubber bumpers.
I also drilled holes in the steel plate to attach safety straps to it and these will attach to the existing screws on the back of the monitors.
I will be drilling holes in my desk to secure the stands.
This weekend I will be redoing my desk as I have a custom computer I just finished building.
I also took apart my new 1500va/1500w UPS and painted it white as well as building a rolling cart for it to put under the desk.
