I'm pretty proud of myself. Lot's of custom work. Acrylic panels on the sides, fan mounting brackets and install, acrylic lighted blocks, wiring, the black acrylic mirror that runs down the mobo that adds depth and reflects the lighting. I put a lot of thought into it and it turned out better then I hoped.
I have no control over the lighting until I install the control programs.

It won't be multi colored but all a dim white or light blue.

Looks like a solid build. I’m planning to build one with Linux as my daily driver.

Just out of curiosity, what are you doing in software that requires 128gb of RAM?

Chrome.

No jk. I have 64GB and use 32GB for caching and ramdisk (Primocache). Pretty neat, though the usefulness is still something to debate.
I have the same Arctic Cooling freezer and it's a beast. Keeps my delidded 8700k at 5.3Ghz at 60°C during a heat stress test while staying very quiet. Dunno how they do it for that price. But what bothers me is seeing you have the pump on the CPU higher than the cooling block. I don't know if I am right with this but at some point couldn't there accumulate air bubbles and impair the cooling?

Oh, and please tell me if your 5950x achieves full spec performance. About half a year ago I tried this CPU and no matter what I did. The CPU hat extensive heat and performance issues. I even tried to water cooling systems. Seemed to be an AGESA issue back then.

How does the fancy light improve performance? Isn't it a bit distracting when looking at the monitor especially in a darker room?

It's probably to protect yourself from demons and ghosts while playing horror games and keep the nightmares away. :D:D:D

I would have preferred a 3090 but pickings are/were short. Plus the 6900xt was $500 cheaper.

i’m guessing the 3080 Ti is already an endangered species?

weird i thought there was ‘stock’ of 3090 since it’s not that competitively priced for crypto.

AMD 5000 series are known to run hot but seem to be ok. I haven't had a chance to run any benchmarks yet. It's on my dining room table still getting some bugs out with lighting and stuff.

Pics of where the rad is.

I think i mentioned in the first post I had no control of the lighting yet. Those pics were on first boot. Lighting will be a very mild white light.

I bought the GPU almost 5 months ago before the 3080ti came out.
I live in a small town and was lucky to walk into a computer shop that had a whole bunch of cards just come in. I had my pick. Unfortunately they had no FE cards at the lower price points.

The monitor on the left? It's an old Dell touchscreen monitor I was just using temporarily. My main monitor is a 43" 4k monitor.
I don't have the patience or time to perform upkeep on a loop. I'm not a heavy gamer so Not worried about it too much.
