Ya, the foam ear plugs are the only ones I could get to work on the right ear.

Nothing stays in my ears either including the noise reduction ear plugs (they just fall out). The only ones that work are the foam ones which is what I used with my Etymotic.
I had a specialist make a mould of my ears and make custom fit plugs for my Etymotic ER4S which have been excellent and much used on aeroplanes. Much more effective than noise-cancelling electronics IME too.

Definitely. And weigh nothing compared to those huge Bose headphones people bring on airplanes.

I have never used one of these but I thought if someone wanted to make pieces for broken parts like yokes this may work for a descent price? Might be fun to play around with too.

I just measured a hifimans yoke. Its just about 5x3 inches so this should work for just about any headphone pieces(not only hifiman) that could break. But if I am wrong please correct me and I will take this thread down as I dont know a dam thing about 3d printers.

You'll probably need a metal skeleton on the yoke to make it robust for daily use. 3D printed plastics don't take to repeated flexing very well most of the time.

Can these type of printers print around a metal object?

It will take a fair bit of planning and 3D modelling expertise to get it correct from what I have seen so far.

You'll have to create a lower cavity with the printer then place/glue on the metal insert that results in a flat top surface and then print on the remainder of the model on top of that.

Possible with good planning. But not a direct path at all.

Couldn't resist so I ordered it. :) So much amp with linear power supplies and such just for $135. Just the case and power supply is worth more than that!

Interesting in the specs I found at Parts-Express it is 80 WPC into 4 ohms at 10% THD. At 8 ohms and a more reasonable 0.1%THD it is 27 WPC. Naturally Massdrop only mentions the 80 WPC figure best I could see...

Not that this detracts from what is likely a solid little amp. I've wanted to try a Class T amp, but don't have any need.

Toys, toys, toys. Got to have them toys.
You'll play with it for a couple hours one day doing measurements and photos, then it'll collect dust until you give it to a friend. LOL
