Hi all,
I'm new here, and I've been perusing the measurements here, and they're wonderful. Ever since running into Ken Rockwell's iPhone DAC measurements many moons ago, I wondered why the audio community doesn't measure source equipment as often as they do headphones...
Anyway, I've been using the NFB-11.28 DAC/AMP for a long time, and your measurements for the 27.38 have got me worried. I was wondering if any of you have a recommendation for something I can use to replace this unit with. Up until now, I've been satisfied with this unit because I can toggle its output between the AMP and the line-out which is hooked up to my powered desktop speakers, so something that can duplicate this functionality would be great. Unfortunately, the DX7's 10 ohm headphone output impedance is too high ...
Or, is it the case that all these variations are inaudible anyway, and I should just go about my day without a worry? Ha ha... ha...
