Seems a weird duck, and 5 year old technology. Couldn't find a lot on it. But guessing for $300 I can likely resell it for that if it doesn't suit..

Just received them. I'm not 100% sure if they were new or just my paranoia. The sticker that seals the top box almost looks like two stickers were applied, and it looked like there was some "fuzz" on the clear silicone eartips, but this might have been from the cutout foam.

Very impressed with the sound quality. Pretty much sound like my old ER4p that I bought more than 15 years ago; you know those really old ones with the blue and red colored ends on them. Sort of wish Etymotic kept that feature so you don't have to squint at a black on black ear marking.

Yeah, I doubt it's a pair. The weight of the package is listed as 77 lbs, which indicates a single.

Adorama can't possibly be selling 2 on Amazon for the same price as 1 on their own website.

That's a very good deal considering their retail price is $450 for a single, which would equate to £450 here in the UK if you compare most electronic equipment prices......so seems like a half price deal at first glance.
