I've never managed to listen to the whole album because it's so emotionally painful. Not experienced this with any other album.

So I have entered a new era.

I just touched opera, about 20 years ago, but it didn't include Maria Callas. ...Now it will be only her.

No listening fatigue - into the second hour - maybe it's these speakers? - or my head has changed.

I can see I'm going to be looking at finding CDs, and the problem of shipping...would be better if I can avoid having to settle for Youtube.
