I would like to confess that I found this site accidentally. I'd searched for the new Dac and found Amirm's review SMSL D1 Dac.

Thank you for Amirm and ASR' members. You guy pulled me to the right track. I don't have to waste a lot of money for BS gears.

Hmm not much of a system, compared to the elaborate stuff some of you have but I quite like the sound of it.
As my favorite Borg lady would say: "crude, but effective."

Clear is still driven directly by my Titanium-HD soundcard, Aria 906 are fed via SPDIF -> Yamaha RX-V377.
Room correction done via Cantabile/Voicemeeter setup for the Dirac Live processor.

Room, well my apartment only has 16.2m² so obviously it's a nearfield setup. TV is a 55" Sony XF-90.

Room size W x L x H = 4.2 x 6 x 2.5 m. or 14 x 20 x 8.3 ft.

My stereo system

Streamer - RPi4 (Volumio) >>> USB to DAC
DAC - Topping D90 >>> XLR to Amp
Pre - Marsh Sound Design P2000 (Not in use since I'm using a digital voulme control on DAC)
Amp - Marsh Sound Design A200S
Speaker - KEF R700

Do I see cable lifters on the floor o_O

Surely not for audio reasons, but rather to prevent the floads (since you are living in Thailand)

Don't laugh at me. I use it for a beauty reason not to improve sound quality.

Relax,
Not laughing AT you, it's really not my type and your setup and deco behind looks and surely sounds nice as well.
It's just that when I saw that you come from Thailand, I couldn't prevent thinking about colleagues in Ayutthaya that had endured the big flood a few years ago.

Not as far as it looks, wide angle lens. Seating is 10 feet from the speaker drivers.

Do you find you get sympathetic resonance from the piano at certain frequencies? I would be afraid of the piano ringing as the volume increased.

When I’m listening I throw a big heavy wool blanket over the piano. But yes, I have had it ring but honestly it takes a LOT, like Rage Against the Machine at 110db at the listening position.

Did you try other speaker placement options ?

Haha, I was anxiously waiting for my audiophile brethren to question that placement. This is temporary since the main room where it sits is housing the Christmas tree and decorations. The acoustics of the main room are far better than the current room.
