Tyll Hertsens and innerfidelity also do not have a wiki, despite this being mentioned in a lot of wikis.

What stops you from writing a wiki about ASR and what objectively correct info would one put in it ? ;)

I've never composed a Wiki entry and am hesitant but enthusiastic. I investigated the process and apparently there is ~ a 2 month wait time for the approval process. I'm going to sleep on it and think about if I want to take on the task.

... and this is a problem why?

Not a problem that there isn't a Wiki. ASR is established now and would benefit from a Wiki by increasing it's reputation and providing some details for peeps web browser search results.

Just make sure you add plenty of references to "cult", "dogma" and the like with some dubious references in the footnotes to the more antagonistic elements of other audio forums. That will be fun.

Yeah. I was already thinking about if or how to address that stuff in a Wiki. It's a major part of ASR so it should have a entry.

I hope my sarcasm came through loud and clear

I will get it started for you as far as draft text and you all can post it on the Wiki:

Overview
ASR stands for Audio for Superior Religion. It was founded by AmirM, the God of Audio, as he is known in many circles (but not audio related). He was born in year 2000 but in order to be taken seriously, he pretends he is much older. He still lives in his parents house. Good thing they have a large garage because that is where he does his most serious work. He has been written up in all kinds of magazines (again, not audio related). He is known to hire the worst moderators to back up his angry attitude when people tell him he is no longer as good looking as he is.

The ASR forum includes many people in his own image: a bunch of vegetarians who eat steak when no one is looking. Sadly not all are as good looking as him so they hide behind avatars and aliases for their own protection.

The site has grown beyond his wildest imagination. Not because there is anything good in it but because his imagination is way too small.

The type of stuff he tests on the site comprise of audio equipment, engine oil and agricultural products (not all true). He uses stupid graphs to make stuff look good even though most of them aren't (citation needed).

Finally, he is looking for someone to run the site so that he can just sit back and order that person around (no citation needed for this as it is obvious).

History
No one knows why Amir got the urge to start the site. Some say he was too lonely and needed a companion. Since no real person would play that role, he decided to create a forum and make up a bunch of imaginary "members" to post there to make him look popular.

The alternate theory is that he is money hungry as evidenced by constant pleas for donations at the end of his reviews regardless of whether the review has any value whatsoever. He has not provided public records of his tax returns (he is the first and only forum owner to be so situated). He says he is being audited but it is a safe bet that he doesn't have enough money to be of interested to the government.
