I think they should have a couple of GoPro cameras on their wedding registry.

Should the advert be for a "pornographer"? I suspect they'd get plenty of takers if they posted on the right site, or maybe just put up a flyer on a pole in the local red light district.

Interesting that they "saved themselves for marriage" then are perfectly willing to strut their stuff in front of a complete stranger ... How tasteful and prude ...

Uh, yeah... Licking soldered connections even without voltage applied seems like a Bad Idea since solder and flux are not really safe chemically to ingest, plus whatever stuff is on them from handling, the floor, his butt after being shocked , etc. Then add the whole shock/electrocution bit... I'll pass, thanks.

Think I'd go from "hmmm..." to "hmph!" on this one. Or maybe emulate Bill the Cat ("phhhblt!")

Aside: When I was working on Journeyman Electrician I was paired with an old fart (probably younger than I am now) who would lick his fingers and whip across powered lines to check voltage. He could tell 120 V, 240 V, 440/480 V by the resulting shock. He would also carve out little chunks of dead flesh from his fingers to show why it didn't hurt. After I graduated, except for a few brushes with transmission tubes, I pretty much stuck with low-voltage things (except for my early audio hobby days, don't do much of that any more, maybe when I retire).

Take away:
  • When a doctor says "Stick out your tongue." -- do it.
  • When an engineer/tech says "Stick out your tongue." -- don't!

As a kid, ya never put your tongue across the terms of a 9v battery? LOL
Tastes salty.

Of course. But (a) a 9 V battery is a known voltage, more or less; and, (b) I did lots of stupid things as a kid I would not do now.

And a few I still do, natch...

Using your tongue as a voltmeter.....
That was standard practice when I was growing up for testing 9 volt batteries! You got used to what level of tingling you got for fresh or old batteries.

"Growing up"? :D
OK, I admit it. Even now I will do it if there is no multi-meter around. But given how cheap meters have gotten, I have one in every toolbox possible to avoid that. :)
