Good advice. If you don't have no ethanol gas available, Sta-Bil fuel preservative does work. Works with no ethanol gasoline too for that matter.

I had to look up the Suzuki Titan 500. It looks great. I once owned the Suzuki 650 Tempter which was a big flop in the USA. I got it new but very cheap as they were clearing them out. It was everything and everywhere wrong (but not terrible) that the Suzuki V-strom 650 got right and got right in the way that made it an exceptional package. And I also had a Suzuki Bandit 1200--again what a great package that in total was so successful for a rider. Oh how I love Suzuki transmissions. Oh, how I hate BMW cycle transmissions. Were I young again.

Rode for over 45 years, till I had to leave big bikes behind due to severe back issues.
Always owned at least 1 Harley, plus a number of sport bikes when I wanted to hit the twisties. Have owned Ducati's, Buell's, and Harley Cafe Racers.. Now I'm relegated to a Vespa when I need to feel a little wind..
My 1949 HD Panhead with me and my first wife, 4th of July weekend 1974, those were the days!

Decades of riding on too many bikes to list. Used to race when I was (much) younger and 80 lbs lighter! LOL

2000 something RoadStar with the 1600cc, Going to the Sun Road, Monatana. One of many trips heading to the 101 on the West Coast which I have travelled "end to end" more than a few times. Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance baby!

Thanks, I loved that bike but she was a real handful to ride, and with no front brake and only a 1949 mechanical rear brake you learned the art of downshifting and engine braking real fast. LOL
This VRod was my last one, couldn't push it in and out of the garage any more. Golden Year's my a-sssss.
A really fantastic machine. I've gained a few pounds too as you see. LOL

I'd dock you a point for the unapproved loafers footware, but in the 1974 picture looks like your wife is barefoot while you have the popular in the 70's boots.

I'm riding all year round, commuting etc. I've test road two Zero electric motorcycles and loved em. It's the future.

I have been riding Motos for almost 30 yrs, lately only on race tracks. I thought it was safer but since I took it too seriously I was crashing too much. Sold the bike in the pic this Xmas, still have a SuperMoto in the garage... but it's so much safer listening to Music

Yeah, I had its predecessor the RD350. So did Ray. Rode many miles in the hills of Tennessee. 6 speed two-stroke with oil injection.
