Half ad8397 per channel(4 in total). And half opa1602 is used to perform error correction. The other half of opa1602 is possibly to do the flying supply or something else. Perhaps it generates the differential signal and pair with a differential amplifier.

Monoprice also has a portable 788 iirc.
And fiio has been planning doing 788 or 888 (more likely) desktop.
