Wow, 12 floors, that’s gonna be a lot of walking (elevators would be have too much of a wait time).
A good trick is to take the elevator once to the top floor and then use the stairs to walk down one floor at a time.
Yes! That's how The RayDunzl Method handled the situation last year:
step 1: Check the Event Map. If there's anything you just can't wait to see, go there first. If that's all you need, you're done. Go home.
The "I gotta see it all!" extended torture option:
Step 2: Go to the highest floor of the expo by elevator (if you like).
Step 3: Walk to one end of the hall, then walk back past the elevator to the other end.
Step 4: Take the stairs (located at each end of the hallway) down to the next floor.
Step 5: Walk that floor, and at the end of the hall, repeat step 4 to get to the next lower floor.
Result: No waiting for an overcrowded elevator (I stood face to face with Mr Fremer on one, and he launched into a "How good is this show!" spiel) and reduced probability of contracting corona virus from vaguely foreign or otherwise over-traveled guests.
Hint for First Timers: There's no exit from the stairs to the lobby or (maybe) the second floor where the big rooms are located. The very bottom door puts you out back by the dumpsters, but you can use that feature to make an inconspicuous escape if desired.
