What is the frequency response of the speaker? Do fish clicks impose special demands on the system? They sound like impulses, maybe have similarities to certain drum hits? Are biologists deceiving naive fish with mid-bass frequency bumps? I imagine that fish are subjectivists and "like what they like". How do the invertebrates feel about the whole artificial soundscape?

Seriously, I've spent quite a bit of time snorkeling on reefs in the U.S. and British Virgin Islands and they are seriously noisy: clicks, whistles, fish literally chewing on the coral. Thanks for the article.

Puffer fish demand Nordost ODIN 2 Supreme cables!

We often hear of sound used as a weapon (infra), so nice to hear it used for such a novel good cause.
