Rockers - while actually a movie it did start life as a documentary and is so realistic regarding late 70s Jamaican music and life it is closer to a documentary than a movie in many ways.

Yeah it's funny but it's not documantary;)
But 'Anvil! The Story of Anvil' feels for at least part of it like it's Spinal Tap part 2, it's a good film though.

Searching For Sugar Man is very interesting, especially if you know nothing about the story, the trailer below gives way to much of the details away, so if you prefer to not know all the major events before watching don't click it.

Loved Sound City! I also enjoyed:

Hype! best documentary on the grunge era IMO.

The Wrecking Crew some incredible performances from a group of folks that are on more records than one could believe.

Muscle Shoals again some incredible performances from a historical point of view.

Beware of Mr. Baker The wild Ginger Baker!
