Do you also have measurements? since audio-gd fiasco it is hard to convince me with pretty pictures and high price components. The design of the box is another story.

Only from Hypex are available in the net. And only from the module.

Maty, pester these companies to send units for review/measurements. Relying on module measurements is not good for them or us.

We could reach a compromise. You take charge of the objective part and I of the subjective part. You have the expensive measuring device and I have records high quality sound, many of them are reference. But better to send it only to you and thus I avoid falling into any temptation.

Tomorrow I will send some e-mails, notifying this thread and asking them to send you the amplifiers with the different available buffers.

The problem is not who does what but availability of units for testing. I am happy to send the gear to you after I am done with it if the manufacturer wants it that way.

Do not tempt me, morning star!

Not buying them I would have a moral dilemma when discussing the possible problems in terms of sound quality. Without offering there is no temptation or fall into sin.

[ Just found this thread. Nord, Apollon, and ATM is using one of the variant's of my outdated buffer designs. Rouge, March Audio, and Mola Mola are using different ones.

March just uses the bone stock built in LM4562 IC op-amp based buffer which is mediocre at best.

Rouge uses a similar buffer to what's on the Purifi demo board. Same op-amp. [maty: OPA1612] But has an option to switch to a discrete opamp for voicing.

The Mola Mola uses an input buffer board with likely the same discrete opamp buffer circuit used on the NC-400 DIY module.

The best for sure is the Apollon PNC 1200N. Which is basically the 9th gen buffer setup I used in Audiogeek's Purepower integrated 2 years ago. Only missing a few key ingredients that I never shared with anyone :)

https://www.audiosciencereview.com/...x-nc1200-quality-of-the-implementations.7918/

Pair them with $20000+ of DAC/preamps/cables and you still won't beat this setup I have running with the Purifi amps though. ]

The Purifi input board buffer uses TI OPA1612 opamps. If you have a look at the datasheet, based on the information they provide, the objective performance is outstanding:

http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/opa1612.pdf

TI made a newer version of this opamp, with higher current output called the OPA1622:

https://www.audioxpress.com/news/Te...eneration-OPA1612-Audio-Operational-Amplifier

And after that they released an enhanced version with built in thin film resistors, and EMI suppression provisions, that is actually capable of delivering better real world performance in a final implementation. The data sheet specs are not as good, but due to the internal laser trimmed resistors, and EMI provisions, real world performance should be better:
