Hi all,

I'm looking for a digital interface with:

Inputs = USB 2.0, TOSlink, AES3

Output = AES3

Needs to have digital volume control and remote control (for connecting to powered speakers which feature AES3 input).

Does anyone know of any?

Does RME have something @MC_RME ?

Ah yes, I forgot about this:

I don't think it does AES3

GENERAL INFORMATION
LAKE PEOPLE DAT (Digital Audio Tool) C RS 05 is a universal tool to adapt digital signals, for resampling, reclocking, format conversion and digital volume attenuation – short: to optimize things !
Basically DAT RS 05 is a sample-rate converter of highest quality with 3 inputs and outputs. As an option a USB input may be added, further the customer may have an optimized clock source with phase jitter as low as femto-seconds – and the unit may be equipped with a remote control.
Features:
- 3/4 switchable digital inputs:
- transformer balanced via XLR (AES 3), 24 bit / 192 kHz
- coaxial via RCA (S/P-DIF, AES-3id), 24 bit / 192 kHz
- optical via TOS-Link, 24 bit / 192 kHz
- optional USB 96 kHz (bidirectional) or 192 kHz (only input)
- Input format up to 24 bits and 192 kHz (opto 96 kHz)
- Input selection via front panel button
- LED signaling of the active input and its sample rate
- Selection of the clock source and its sample rate via front panel button - LED signaling of the clock source its sample rate
- Internal clock oscillator with phase jitter < 10 ps (10-12)
- Optional Femto-Clock-Oscillator with pahse jitter < 90 fs (10-15)
- internal clocks: 44.1, 48, 88.2, 96, 176.4, 196 kHz
- Wordclock output to serve as a “House-Clock” or
- Wordclock input for external synchronization
- Volume attenuations of the digital signal with “common” potentiometer - Dynamic range > 138 dB, THD < 0,000015 % = -137 dB
- Optional remote control for input selection, sample rate,
volume attenuation via motorized potentiometer
- the optimized signal is output on 3/4 outputs simultaneously
- transformer balanced via XLR (AES-3), 24 Bit / 192 kHz - coaxial via RCA (S/P-DIF, AES-3-id), 24 Bit / 192 kHz
- optical via TOS-Link, 24 Bit / 96 kHz
- optional USB 96 kHz
- Output format 24 bit, up to 192 kHz (opto & USB 96 kHz)
- Multimode switchmode supply 85 – 260 V AC for worldwide operation - Elaborate supply voltage, low ERS caps for filtering and stabilization - Black aluminum case
- Massive front panel with special silk screening

The remote control of ADI-2 Pro also controls the digital outputs volume? @Purité Audio @andreasmaaan
The ‘pro’ doesn't have a remote but you can attenuate volume via the main ‘knob’ I use them with the D&D 8Cs, feeding the speakers a digital input

I stand corrected :)

Bummer, that means the ADI-2 Pro needs to be within reach. That's why I mentioned in my opening post, remote control. A few meters away.

Looks like the Lake People unit fits the bill though.

This is good - remote control.
