How many subwoofers do I need to properly experience the launch?
Well the 4 RS25 engines plus the two solid rocket boosters generate about 40 billion watts of power, with a combined diameter equivalent to a single actuator of around 23 feet.

I think you're gonna have to be there. :p

Better late and safe and successful than anything else. History will forgive the delays but any failure will be permanent.

A little stormy weather didn't stop NASA in the past...

They're going to try again at 1:00am Eastern tonight...

If it's not too cloudy I should be able to see it go.

A leak was detected an hour or so ago. Stopped fuel flow. Sending a team to torque down (IE tighten) some packing nuts on valves. Repair should be about 15 minutes and launch is still on if the maintenance stops the detected leak.

So a bit ago a bad ethernet switch took down the Ranging radar which is a no go for launch. Countdown proceeds with the assumption they'll get it replaced by launch time.

New launch estimate. 1:45 am soonest.

Some panels attached with RTV sealant have popped loose according to sensor. They decided letting them blow off will cause no trouble. So why do they have sensors if it doesn't matter. UGH!!

Well it launched nearing main engine cutoff and separation now.

Now made orbit and solar cells will deploy about 18 minutes in from launch. Looks good so far.

Looks like a success. Achieve LEO flawlessly. TLI burn also complete. It's headed for the moon.
