I have been using the Revel M106 for a year & really like it
The upgrade itch caught me & the M126 BE seemed the logical choice
I prefer bookself speakers with dsp'ed dual subs

The M126 Be on paper was the upgraded M106, with the Beryllium tweeter & the ceramic wave guide etc
The upgrade thread( from 106 to 126 )on ASR, did not help my decision making
I finally pulled the trigger on it, ordered in black, arrived in silver
Liked the silver, so keeping it

The build quality is definitely a step up from the M 106
Component quality is better too
The white drivers, I prefer the black on the M106 but I can live with the white

The tweeters and mid are definite step up for me, in terms of sound quality
Bass seems the same, crossed over at 80 hz
The sound stage seems wider

Calibrated with minidsp REW & dirac, I am happy with the result

Thought I would share my experiences here, for fellow Revel fans.

yes, so for no buyers remorse

video on yourube
I've got the M16, S16, M106 & F206 and really like them all... I'm done.
Note: I bought them all used and the total cost was less than for one M126 Be, $2200. (The F206s were cosmetically damaged during shipping and the seller refunded my money and told me to "keep 'em", which accounts for the total cost being below the price of one M126 Be) Any further upgrades in the Revel line don't make sense for my space or cost vs benefit frugality... but I must admit that seeing pics of this rig revive my upgrade lust... lol. I'm happy with my M106 so am putting you on ignore. ;) Seriously, though, at that price-point I'm trying to talk myself out of the F208 on sale even though they'd make little sense in my room.

A bit out of topic, but could you also share your impression of Revel M106/M126 vs the Focal Aria you seem to also own ?
Thank you

The Focal Ariav 906 is a fine speaker in its own right
Neutral and well put together
in terms of personal preference, i would rate them as
Revel 126 > Revel 106 > Focal 906

How do you like the M106 near field? I’ve been interested in Revel but i have my speakers on stands behind my desk. About 1m listening distance.

Great choice on the silver, I was very tempted when Music Direct had a b stock pair for $3k!

The M 106 works well in near field too

I picked upthe Revel M126, B stock from Music direct
Silver was not an available choice at 3K$, just a happy accident

I am a bit worried about the stability of my Proel 830 stands, they also vibrate at the lightest touch
The 20" pangea stands are far sturdier, the Focal 906 in the frame are on them
The Proel brings the tweeters to ear level

Considering switching the Proel to behind my desk for the Revel M106 and using the Pangea for the 126 be
Was happy enough when the M 106 was on the pangea stands previously
