it's the slightly cheaper Adam Hall pads (would've posted the link when i replied but their site was down due to maintenance), with the logo facing backwards due to the angle i needed

i too used'em on my desk setup first, actually (tho they were way large for the small Dali's)

Not including the Sony open reel complete system, I brought back from Aden in1967.
First was Goodman's Minster, Thorens TD150, Shure V15 111. And a Sony 15 watt per channel integrated, brought back from a ",jolly", in Singapore.
Now, Spendor S100's, rel S2*2. Quad Platinum monos, Qutest, Artera. Mainly, asked to stream via Sonos. The LP12, and Nakamichi CR7 do still work!
The Oppo UDP 203 has almost never been used!

Kool, thanks for the response guys!
Interesting material and it amazingly doesn't cost thousands of dollars, just some basic cigar/cigarette money. ;)

My two-channel room was flooded so currently my two channel/headphone/theater is squeezed in to one area. The Minidsp is now used for theater duties.

The two channel room is being rebuilt and a MINIdsp flex and a Benchmark AHB2 is on order to be used with the BMR Monitors after the room is finished.

Hi every one. I completed my setup last week to the following:

DIY NAS with my music in FLAC file format.
Streamer: RaspberryPi4 with Volumio.
DAC: Topping D70s.
Headphone/Pre-amp: Singxer SA-1.
Poweramp: Audiophonics MPA-250NC.
Speakers: DIY Speakerland.nl mini monitors.
Headphones: Beyerdynamic DT-880 600 Ohm.

No hum or hiss from the speakers which are driven greatly by the hypex module. Love the openness of the sound. Rediscovering my music with all those little details that are now revealed. Listening to Chris Stapleton now. Goosebumps.

Edit: pictures added.

New system time!

I finally finished up my CSS 1TD-X kit. I am very pleased with how they turned out both aesthetically and sonically.

I’ve got them in the living room. I’m driving them with a NAD m10. I also have a pair of RSL speedwoofer subs in the room, crossed over at 80hz.

Placement is FAR from ideal, but it’s the only option in this room. Dirac does a nice job of cleaning up the adverse effects of their current placement.

I also upgraded the garage gym system. I was using a UE Bluetooth speaker. Now I’ve got a pair of Philharmonic Audio “Affordable Accuracy Monitors.” It’s a quick kit put out by Dennis Murphy using a premade cabinet and budget drivers from partsexpress (Dennis provides the crossover and some other associated bits). They sound great and have surprising bass output. Huge upgrade for my favorite part of the house!

Hello folks!

Here’s my Larsen 9 speakers either side of Panasonic ZT60. Fed by Bluesound Node via coax and Oppo UDP-203 via optical, which downmixes to 2.0 into Topping D90se, then balanced xlr into Benchmark AHB2. :)

I have two audio systems, one in my office that I already posted in the desktop audio thread, and then the one below that lives in my living room.

While my living room system is 5.1 (with 2 subs), the center/surrounds are of secondary importance. First and foremost, this is a 2 channel music system, so I don't care/obsess that the center and surrounds don't match the mains. The physical space for matching with Focals does not exist, and it still rocks for gaming, movies, and video streaming as-is anyway.

Below is a pic of the room. The TV is on a MantelMount, so it lowers down 30 inches (.75 meters) when we use it, even though it's up on the wall in this pic.

It took a lot of work and tweaking with the new Audyssey MultEQ-X desktop app as well as MSO to get both seats dialed in together in a large open space with almost zero treatment, but I'm very happy with my results. This is both seats:

Beautiful setup, but by not sitting in the middle, you miss out on the stereo sound image.

How are those E112s?
