It turned out that Sabaj's A8 does not operate normally at 100V in Japan due to a design error in the power supply voltage switching circuit. In addition, it became difficult to purchase the ICE pwer 125 ASX2 module, so it was discontinued.
I bought two A8s right after they were released, but I found a mistake in the circuit design and returned them. The A8 was a great amp in terms of design, sound quality and quality.

I bought the A20a 2022, which was released in place of the A8, immediately without hesitation. I bought two A300s in succession because of their good sound quality. The sound quality of both is very similar and I can't tell them apart. I think the sound quality of BTL mono mode is excellent even though it is an inexpensive product.

Hi so just to be clear this "mistake in the circuit design" is harmless for 120V users in North America? Or is the error in design you mention separate from the 100V issue? I own one of these units. Thank you in advance.

I have moved into a new apartment and want to bring life to my B&W speakers by feeling my SMSL D1SE through ifi ican signature to an amp, maybe the A300. A300 has the same width as my SMSL DAC and plan to put A300 below it.

Why did you choose this amp? Is this better than Topping PA5 that many like?

It's doubtful that it sounds as good as PA5, but it has some good things to it that the PA5 lacks such digital control over the volume. And obviously many will want RCA inputs.

The A300 is slightly more powerful than the AO200 but it’s not that big of a difference in my opinion. I prefer the functionality of the AO200 much better. The user menu is much nicer and more intuitive. The build also feels nicer on the AO200 to me. It could also be to the fact that it’s 80+ dollars more than the A300. I have 2 A300’s in a mono block configuration and that has more power and dynamics.

Yes and no in my opinion. The A300 has slightly more power but I prefer everything else about the AO200. The functionality of the user menu is much better as well as the build. Also the AO200 had dual Infineon MA12070 chips vs 1 Infineon MA5332M chip. I’m not sure how much of a difference that makes but the AO200 is 80+ dollars more and feels like it should be. I currently have 2 A300’s in a mono block configuration and that sounds incredible for the money. Plenty of dynamics and headroom to drive any speakers. But if we were comparing 1 AO 200 versus 1 A300 I might sway towards the AO200 just because of the user experience.

I would say yes then. For under $200 not much that could compete against it. The Sabaj A20a 2022 model uses the same Infineon chip but is more of a retro look.
