This class J means junk.

Absolutely right!

I assume this is why there is no poll (at least right now) at the top of the review : voting is not possible yet because the most relevant category for that device is still missing: Piece of junk.

This review finally proves that not all amplifiers sound the same.

Either way it did create an earthquake one way or another with this kind of performance ;)

I think this is a outlier. I googled class J extensively and found limited details on it but what I found was not stated to be for audio use.

I think the fact that this isn't the worst measured amp so far speaks volumes (pun intended) about the competition.

Ouch, agree on the waste of our planet's resources, and is also a good point. Damned shame...

Another case for the pretty scrappily but reasonably decent for $100-130 Monoprice 605030, it smokes this amp.

One almost has to go out of their way to get such a poor SINAD when there ae so many amps on a chip that perform much better. Thank tou @amirm

Looking at the frequency response roll off....

It kind of makes sense for them to call this thing the Earthquake XJ-300ST!!

High magnitude. Lots of damage. Audiophiles evacuated the premises.

I almost want to see a review of their $1000 DSP-controlled 700W amp now.
But I'm not sure anyone should waste their money for our entertainment.
