It kept my attention and jerked a tear at the end.

StarTrek - Beyond
Just got back from the IMax and watching Beyond.
Great fun movie with tons of action and great CGI/effects.
The deck on the newest enterprise is awesome looking, can't wait for the next release to spend more time there.
Hard to shake the sadness of the tragic death of Anton Yelchin (Checov) as you watch him all thru the movie
and also knowing the passing of Leonard Nemoy which is addressed in the movie in its own way.
Keenser is back, ;) as a permanent cast member but still a man of few words. LOL
Do go see it on the big screen while you can, IMax 3D if possible, it's worth the money.
Rented the Redbox BluRay last night and found it almost as enjoyable as the IMAX presentation. The DTS HD soundtrack provided a excellent surround experience on my 5.2 system Lot's of action and panning of the surround channels makes for a fun listening night. I found Sofia Boutella as Jaylah one of the most sexest aliens from the StarTrek franchise, I'd seriously do her. LOL Love the scene where she brings Kirk aboard her "home" for the first time and she sits on the captains chair. He gives her a look like "get out of my chair" which she returns with a "f--koff" look, too kool.
As a 50 year trekie since the original series I say,
PLEASE, keep em coming!

Gotta get me a 75" Sony for Christmas if the prices get right! :D

I didn't expect much, but found it entertaining. Great visuals including Jaylah. Nice on a 140 inch projector Sal. Don't settle for 75 inches. Really works with full HD at that size.

Watched the first episode of the second series of 'Blindspot' this week... I think amir was enjoying the first series?
Yes and we have been watching this season with interest too. It has a lot of twists and turns this season, perhaps too much, but it is still well done and worth a watch.

Love Buckaroo ! With a large home remodel nearly finished, I have my 2 channel set up back and the theater room. Will watch the latest Star Trek blue ray. Enjoyed it in the theater.
