I watched The Lobster (2015) last night.

The-Lobster-br-us-245x300.jpg

It is not your usual type of flick. It is not a sci-fi/monster movie. It is not an action film a la Bruce Willis.
It's a fantasy/comedy/type of love story between Colin and Rachel (fun acting).

Some people will flow smoothly with it, others won't.
It is hard to evaluate fairly, but if I would venture my own personal critic, I felt like it's worth 65
It's right there on the edge...The Lobster.
________

Perhaps because my heart and soul are filled with the summer Olympic games in Rio, it has a certain influence in my overall assessment; I'm just not sure to what extent.

Last word: Adventure yourself, it won't bite and lobster is delicious with asparagus (plus melted butter).

I didn't want to play Pokemon Go, so instead I watched this last night:

51pezEKkIEL._SY300_QL70_.jpg

Didn't have to go far to get a headache. It's a wild ride for sure, but it's like a video game...with all that kid's stuff.
It's not a romance, but more a violence flick.
Did I get entertain? Oh ya, big headache big time.

Overal: 36%

Last word: Get a bottle of aspirins handy standing by before you press that "Play" button.

Ozzy and Jack's World Detour - The History Channel Sunday at 10PM EDT
Meant to post this up weeks ago. A weekly show detailing Ozzy Osborne and son Jack on a world tour to investigate Ozzy's interest in history and it's various sights. Funny as hell and interesting at the same time. Last week they were in the Badlands and the different interest sights like Deadwood, Mt Rushmore and a nuke missile site. Tonight it's about UFO's, Petroglyphs National Monument, the UFO Museum and the famous Roswell crash site.
Just a lot of fun to watch.

This,

is my cup of tea. Someone who takes no prisoners in terms of what he does to make magic happen with musical instruments, and who can just add layer upon layer of complexity, with complete control. If I had a musical "hero", it would be Buddy Rich - irrespective of everything else about the man ...

Last night:

Lol, back to the 80s, just after the disco years, when still looking for that disco ball but without the music that came with it.
I was transported to that fun world of parties and simple crazy stuff we all did.
The movie started kind of slow, then it got better. The best thing? Nobody was serious.
Overall: 67

Last word: Refreshing.

I watched a Jodie Foster (director) flick last night on Blu:

155120_large.jpg

It's about the casino (stock market in the US). You invest your money in recommended "Buy" stocks, and someone else take good care of playing with it. :)
Well, it turned out not so well. A young investor just lost his total life savings...fifty grands, and he's not happy.
The TV show hosted by a bunch of animated animals who have zero idea on how the stock market works, is interrupted live by that young investor.
He's got a gun, and two boxes...

@ the end he ended up even more broke, and the message was clear.
I enjoyed watching it; it kept me interested till the end with a reasonable tension, and good performance from the young man.
The police was good too (swat team & all). And they stick to their guns till the very end, sadly.

I would give it roughly 7 stars out of 10. Make that few decimals more.

The moral of the story: If you want to listen to those TV people about their stock recommendations, be prepared to dance their own foolish dances.
It's a zoo out there, a human zoo inside a TV casino.

Recommended viewing.

I watched one of my top 5 movies of all times again: Shawshank Redemption:

Must have watched it 20 to 30 times and never get tired of it!

I must have memorized half the lines in the movie! :D

Joe Rogan has a new comedy live recording on Netflix. Also, some funny jokes about Texas. If you are a PC loving social justice warrior, you won't enjoy his brand of humor. He's one of my favorite comedians. He also has a sometimes interesting podcast.
