Well I don't know about the sound, but definitely not the most graceful looking speaker out there by any means. Talk about your large Transformer looking robots, this has to be their leader. The name even matches the speakers looks as in big and clunky.

Also, I've never been a fan of the large Wilson's sound. Or their design, lots of sharp angles, those vibrating wing's, non chamfered bass ports, boomy bass, etc...

At the audio shows Dave likes his speakers spaced pretty wide(try 11'), trying to get that big concert hall effect he likes. Such as when he goes to visit this place https://www.musikverein.at I thought I liked a big sound with my Magnepan's, dang.

I'm not feeling any lust for it, either.

I suppose his target market will take all he cares to make, so it will be a success.

In a decade these will be pennies on the dollar on the used market.
I will pick up a few, add some coloring to the vertical array of mouth, nose, & eyes.
Add some wheels & lots of guns, lasers, etc.
Now into full production of my movie: "THE ROBOT DID IT"

iridium.

Looks like it has been "for sale" for a while:

It always has worth.

For the $$$ asked, I want a pair of speakers made from t1000/t10001 liquid metal [TERMINATOR].

Dang near $3/4 of a million???
That just leaves me speechless.
I wonder how many sets he'll sell?
The la-la land of Luxury Audio has totally lost track of the real world,
but I think I've said that a number of times in the past.
How much for a fully functional 9.2.4 immersive surround rig?

Is it for the truck?
50, really!? Wow.

If you accept the degradation of using JBL M2s for all channels the cost is about one third as a pair of those. Yes including the amps and everything. Seems like a bargain Sal.

What is it that people think is clever about this sort of thing? Split the signal into frequency bands and pipe them to drivers and boxes of appropriate size. It works.

You can make it more difficult and less good by doing the splitting passively and muddying the bass with ports. By using wing nuts and screws to move the boxes you can claim to have timing adjustment resolution better than 5 us.

Or you can do it the easy way.

I can't get excited by it any more.

I'll be submitting my order after the holidays, getting all my friends Rolex's and new Caddy's for Christmas right now. ;)
