No doubt you got punched in the face with the new look of the forum. :) Wanted to let you know that is work in progress. I got tired of the bland and stock look of the forum. We need a color identity that speaks to fun and learning. The bland blue did not do either.

Alas, the forum software makes it very tedious to customize it. It does have a global dial that changes everything at once and that is what I used. But then fine tuning it is challenging. I am happy with the top header but the forum name colors are not my liking.

Give the new look a bit of time. I know I disliked some aspects of it last night that has now grown on me. :)

Brown though amir... Brown.

Keep it positive, blue is calming! What's the colour of learning? Dark green plus light brown?

Brown on brown is Mede

The logo thing is yellow green and orange.... With the right shading that could work.

"According to public opinion surveys in Europe and the United States, brown is the least favorite color of the public; the color most often associated with plainness, the rustic, and poverty."

I like it! 20 years of "Windoz blue" themes got awful boring for me a while back.
Blends perfectly with the SteamPunk themes I've installed thru-out my OS. ;)

Personally, the hit of the brown is an instant negative when I first see it - blue is a welcome return to normality ...

Interesting greys, with colour hints, might be the way.

I still reckon some "sophisticated" greys would do it - the site most certainly shouldn't be 'loud', it should present as authoritative, in a restrained fashion ...
